Job Description
Our client is a long-standing private equity firm with APAC presence, currently looking for an Assistant Accounting Manager to join as part of the Finance team.
Reporting into the Finance Director, you will oversee HK and PRC region with the following duties:
- Gather financial data and ledgers
- Consolidate and analyse financial statements and results
- Prepare budgets and monitor expenditures
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Manage periodical reporting
- Oversee external and internal audits
- Analyses finances to determine risks and create forecasts
- Advise management on how to craft effective business plans and resolve cost-related issues
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years proven experience as a Corporate Accountant, ideally within private equity firm
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and practices
- In-depth experience in risk analysis, budgeting and forecasting
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and financial software
- An analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese
- Keen eye for detail
- BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA is a plus
