- Establish and maintain procedures for the safe handling, storage, and transportation of dangerous goods
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and transporters to ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining quality standards
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with logistics service providers, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, sales, and operations, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of logistics activities
- Prepare and review shipping documents, including dangerous goods declarations, bills of lading, and other required documentation.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in logistics and make recommendations for process improvement
The successful applicant
- Diploma in Supply Chain Management/ Logistics or related disciplines
- 5+ years relevant experience in logistics
- Able to build strong relationships with customers, freight forwarders, brokers, other key industry stakeholders
- High proficiency in English and Chinese
- Experience in supply chain planning and optimization is a plus
- Knowledge or experience in handling and using ERP system is a plus
