About Our Client
Our client is a leading health & beauty retailer with over 200 shops and employs almost 2,000 employees in Asia. Due to their business needs, they are looking for an Assistant Logistics Manager under the Strategic Procurement and Logistics Department and responsible for supply chain management in China and overseas markets.
Job Duties
- Responsible for inventory management, stock planning, replenishment, and allocation for China and overseas markets
- Manage and control inventory level balancing on market level and shop level
- Conduct stock replenishment and allocation between shops and warehouse
- Handle inventory control for commodity with product freshness and expiry date issue
- Liaise with different functional teams to minimize excessive and wastage with inventory usage plan
- Monitor and manage 3PL performance and review KPIs with action plans
- Conduct operation analysis and reporting to improve logistics workflow and cost saving
- Support supply chain system enhancement and automation projects
- Assist ad hoc duties as required
Requirement
- Degree holder or above in Logistics/ Supply Chain Management, or any related disciplines
- At least 5 years relevant experience in 3PL management, inventory control, stock allocation, and supply chain management
- Experience in FMCG and retail industry is preferable
- Experience in logistics tender and rate negotiation with service providers is preferable
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Chinese word processing, or any supply chain software solutions
- Fluent communication in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
