About Our Client
Our client is one of the most well-known retail brands in fashion and apparel. The company is now looking for a competent and reliable Online Brand Protection Manager to aid their daily business operations, as well as to protect their intellectual properties right on their products and trademarks.
About The Role
In this dynamic environment, you will:
- Negotiate with vendors, e-commerce, and social media platforms, and identify risks on possible infringement and/or intellectual property rights violations;
- Implement and improve internal policies and measures to safeguard the company's IP rights on various platforms;
- Liaise with external parties, such as external counsels, law enforcing agents, on infringement cases and counterfeits;
- Prepare documents arising from the related processes and procedures, and represent the company on negotiations and any follow-up actions;
- Manage the IP and/or trademark portfolio, and update related internal parties on latest actions and risks;
- Assist on any ad-hoc projects assigned.
Requirements
- Degree holder in related disciplines with 8+ years of experience in handling IP and trademarks matters, preferably gained from in-house environments in related industries.
- Candidates with less years of experience can be considered as Assistant Manager.
- Solid experience in trademarks related legal matters, such as identifying risks, negotiation and follow-up on infringements/counterfeits, and managing IP portfolios.
- A team player with good interpersonal skills and strong business acumen.
- High level of professional ethics and attention to detail.
