About The Role:
- Assist in overseeing day-to-day production activities, ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with the Senior Production Manager to develop and implement production plans, strategies, and process improvements.
- Monitor production processes, identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement, and propose solutions to optimize productivity.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including QA, production, procurement and logistics and warehouse
- Support the implementation and maintenance of quality control procedures and standards to ensure consistent product quality.
- Assist in conducting regular inspections and audits to identify quality issues and non-conformities, and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to investigate and resolve production-related quality incidents or customer complaints.
- Assist in implementing and monitoring food safety and hygiene practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
The Successful Applicant:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a production or manufacturing role within the food industry
- Strong knowledge of food production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify process inefficiencies and propose effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluent English and Cantonese
