Job Description
Our client is a growing financial services firm with operations across consumers and small businesses, commercial banking, asset management and investment banking. As part of business expansion, they are currently building a new credit risk team for the private banking business.
Reporting into the Team Head, you will be responsible for the development of credit products for private banking business. You will prepare new product approval proposals, draft risk policy and operations manual working closely with key internal stakeholders. You will also work on training materials on private banking products as necessary.
The ideal candidate will be degree educated in Risk Management or relevant disciplines, with minimum 8+ year's credit risk experience acquired from financial services sector (preferably within private banking setting). You will demonstrate high attention to detail and ability to consistently follow Credit Policy in compliance with statutory and regulatory standards. You will also be able to analyse credit structures and the attendant credit risks. Good communications skills in Chinese and English will be required, alongside the ability to interact well with clients, senior colleagues and junior resources. This role pays up to $60k per month plus attractive bonus.
