About The Client
Our client is a fast-paced retailer with an agile culture. To cope with upcoming business expansion, they are hiring a seasoned Human Resources practitioner to join as the Deputy Head of the team, to provide business partnership to executive senior leaders, whilst ensure business goals and HR strategies are aligned and executed effectively.

About The Role
Reporting into the HR Director, you will assume the following responsibilities:

- Understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives productivity and development of talent within the company
- Scope and execute large people projects e.g. workforce planning, talent, career pathing, leader/employee development, performance management, compensation strategy design etc
- Support leaders and employees on all strategies related to people in assigned functional/business lines, managing concepts and appropriate related tasks
- Put through initiatives from centers of excellence, including compensation, learning & developmet, talent acquisition etc
- Provide insight on employee issues enabling optimal decision making and outcomes for the business
- Provide tools and analytics of employee data (compensation, retention, etc) to help drive the development of the people strategy

Requirements

- Degree holder in Human Resources, Psychology, Marketing or relevant disciplines
- Agile and non-conventional Senior HR Generalist/ business partner with 15-20+ years of relevant experience from matrix and fast-moving organisations, retail or FMCG industries an advantage
- Able to challenge status quo and bring solutions with a macro-view
- Background in developing/implementing strategic HR initiatives to drive business's success
- Strong communication and coaching skills
- Tactful stakeholders management and influencing skills, able to deal with ambiguity
- Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese
