About our Client
Our client is top tier family office and they are looking for Trading Associate to join their Public Market Investment Team.
About the Role
Reporting to the PM and you will:
- Monitor portfolio, macro and market developments, and recommend changes to underlying exposure
- Structure and position trades to reflect the desired exposure in different asset classes in an efficient manner
- Analyse portfolio including performance of internal and outside managers
- Implement trades to enhance risk reward profile and/or hedge against portfolio assets
- Devise risk metrics and framework to enhance portfolio monitoring and for trade ideas generation
- Provide suggestions to enhance the trading infrastructure and capabilities
Requirement
- Degree graduate, preferably in corporate finance or related disciplines
- 3 years of experience in structuring / equity derivatives or FICC trading with a bank/ institutional or corporate investor
- Strong understanding of trading infrastructure
- Solid and proven trade structuring and execution skills
- Desire to move into a bigger-picture investment role
- Diligent and thorough with presentation and calculation materials
- Excellent time management skills to deliver expected result
- Strong interpersonal skill & team skills
- Fluent in spoken & written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
