About the Company
Our client is one of the largest banks in Hong Kong. Recently, they are looking for an AVP Compliance to join their team in Hong Kong.
About the Role
- Liaise with HKMA/SFC to drive regulatory examinations, reporting requirements and other investigation activities.
- Provide internal compliance advice and implement reviews according to internal compliance requirements and procedures.
- Provide support for bank and its branches in general on regulatory compliance.
- Provide compliance advice on banking related regulatory issues.
- Manage and renew compliance requirements and policies.
- Discuss laws and regulations provided by HKMA/SFC and harmonize differences with business divisions.
- Cooperate with related group to analyse the potential influence of regulatory updates and developments to ensure compliance regulatory are updated.
- Solve regulatory complaints and related issues.
- Handle ad-hoc projects provided by Division.
- Manage customer materials/communications according to corporate and commercial banking regulatory compliance.
The Successful Applicant
- Degree holder in Finance, Accounting, Law or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years' working experience in banking.
- Solid experience in general compliance with experience in dealing with regulatory.
- Knowledgeable in relevant laws, regulatory and banking returns.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to work with group.
- Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
