Our client is one of the reputable retail & commercial banks in Hong Kong. They are now hiring a Section Head - Policy & Governance Team and AVP - BCP Team to join as part of the Operational Risk Management department
Section Head, Operational Risk Management (Policy Team)
- Lead a team to develop, review and implement effective ORM framework with methodologies, policies, guidelines and procedures
- Coordinate and compile to internal audit and regulators on audit findings, assessment, survey or enquiries
- Manage development of ORM tools including Key Risk Indicator, Risk and Control Self-assessment, Operational Risk Event to implement the operational risk management framework
- Consolidate various management reports on regular and ad-hoc basis
- Assist in execution of relevant responsibilities of Basel Committee, Risk Management Committee and Technology Risk Management Committee according to the Terms of Reference
- Review the operational risk related Risk Appetite of the Bank
- Manage the implementation of the Operational Risk Stress-testing programme according to the bank-wide Stress Testing Policy approved by the Board
AVP, Operational Risk Management (Business Continuity Management Team)
- Assist in review and update of Business Continuity Management Policy
- Coordinate/ develop/ update BCP in response to emergency scenarios
- Coordinate with respective parties in relation to implementation of various BCP activities and assist in preparation of formal BCP annual statement
- Perform quality check on business continuity plans of departments including carrying out of business impact analysis, business continuity plans
- Coordinate on the annual bank-wide BCP drill of the Bank, promote BCP awareness in internal meetings, prepare BCP training materials
- Review and provide comments on new product proposal and product change related documents, outsourcing proposals and annual review, RCSA assessments, from BCP perspective
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or above in business discipline
- Team Head (Policy team): Over 7 year experience in Operational risk management in Banking with solid experience in 2lod / policy & governance, well-versed with Basel regulatory requirements, standards and related regulations
- AVP (BCP Team): With 4-7 years experience in Operational risk management, familiar with BCP
- Professional qualification as CIA, FRM, PMP is a plus
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua an advantage
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to work independently and under pressure
