About Our Client
Our client is a regional financial institution who is now seeking for a compliance manager to join their team.
About The Role
- Provide advice on compliance, regulatory, AML/CFT related inquiries to stakeholders
- Supervise the subordinate to provide compliance and regulatory supports for all branches, business units and operations units
- Formulate and maintain in-house procedure manuals to ensure compliance with regulatory and Group requirements
- Assist in disseminating the latest regulatory requirements to the relevant business or operations units and follow up with the respective units on the respective implementation plan
- Develop and implement AML/CFT related / ad-hoc tasks and projects
- Provide AML/CFT related ad hoc and on-going training
- Report any compliance /AML/CFT related issues to Head
- Assist in liaising with Audit and the regulators such as the Hong Kong Monetary Authority
Requirements
- University degree in Laws, Finance or relevant discipline
- Minimum 5 year's in compliance, audit and related fields with hands-on experience in compliance, preferably with knowledge in loans
- Independent, self-motivated, mature with a strong sense of responsibility and good communication skills
- Able to work under pressure
- Good interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills
- Good command of written English and Chinese
