About the Company
Our client is a Hong Kong listed company with a powerful market position in the provision of manufacturing, design, retail and wholesale in luxury goods. The company has a strong presence within HK and Greater China and recent positive developments have provided a springboard for further growth. Due to continued business expansion, they are now seeking for a Business Development Director to join their team.
About the Role
Reporting to the CEO, you are responsible for revenue generation across all products and regions while keeping a tab on arithmetic calculations, pricing structures, gross margin and profitability. Working with cross team, you will provide strategic sales direction for the manufacturing business and assists in the development of their product selections. In addition, you will continuously manage existing business, evaluate growth opportunities, retain solid relationships and identify new opportunities by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
Requirements
- At least 15 years of experience in OEM manufacturing sales, especially in fashion or leather accessories
- Strong, presentation skills to groups of all sizes and levels and a successful track record of sales and negotiation skills
- Excellent verbal/written communication, time-management, analytical, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to synthesize complex technical, business, and legal issues and apply that knowledge at solving problems and executing action plans
- Highly values diversity of experience, views, backgrounds and orientation in a group-team setting
- Knowledge of market trends, industry participants and business models
- Must have positive attitude, high energy, possess a strong work ethic and maintain a high level of integrity and self accountability
- Good command in English and Chinese
