Our client has been expanding very well in the market with a strong business vision. They are looking for a Busioness Director to join the assigned business unit to head up the food trading business.
Based in Hong Kong and reporting to Business Head, you will be responsible for developing the plan for the food trading model. You will lead the global sourcing by identifying international sources for multiple food/beverage categories including frozen food, processed food, packaged products, chilled items to fulfill the market demands. To maximize the outreach in the market and understanding of the market response, you will devise a holistic distribution strategy with a comprehensive coverage in retailers, wholesalers, and catering. You will also spearhead product launch at the targeted channels. This is an exciting opportunity in a new normal market environment, and you will build the business to its full potential with an entrepreneur mindset to achieve the business objectives.
Requirements:
- University degree in business, marketing, and other related disciplines
- 15+ years sales management, exposure in MT, wholesales & catering
- Solid international sourcing experience from FMCG, plus PNL ownership
- Strong business network and stakeholder management skill
- Presentable, numerical, strong communications and presentation skills
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English, Chinese and Mandarin
