About our Client
Our client is one of the leading Department Stores in Hong Kong and they are now looking for a Category Manager (Food OR Soft Line) for their expanding business in Hong Kong.
About the Role
- Manage the assigned product categories to drive sales and meet margin target
- Formulate order forecast and maintain inventory control
- Work closely with Sourcing Manager in the selection of products
- Conduct market research to keep up-to-date on the market trend in terms of different product categories
- Coordinate with different external and internal parties to deliver the best promotion campaign
Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or any other relevant disciplines
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in buying or category management in Retail / FMCG field
- Strong numerical sense with an analytical mindset
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Good command in spoken English and Chinese. Fluent in Japanese is a MUST
