About the Client
Our client is a renowned Hong Kong based conglomerate with a growing portfolio of businesses in hospitality, food and beverage, and property development across the region. To cope with their business development plan, they are looking for a Catering & Event Sales Manager to join their ever growing sales team.
About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Catering & Events, you will be responsible for leading and executing the hotel food and beverage program, including generating and tracking event sales and co-ordinating all events at the hotel. Your main goal is to produce exceptional events and drive referrals and positive public opinion. You will develop new business leads and also foster relationships with members, individuals and corporations to maintain a catalogue of repeat business while prospecting for new events. Most importantly, you will maximize revenues and profitability by achieving set sales targets.
Requirements
- Diploma holder in Hospitality Management, Business or other related disciplines
- Minimum 3-4 years' relevant sales experience in the hospitality or catering industry, candidates with less experience will be considered as an Assistant Catering & Event Sales Manager
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Self motivated and result-driven, with a track record of success in achieving sales targets
- Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) is a prerequisite for this role
