About the Client
Listed in the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, my client is one of the largest consumer retailers in Greater China with multiple spots. To cope with their growing business strategy, they are looking for an experienced CFO to join the management team.
About the Role
Reporting into the CEO, you will lead over 50 headcount across Hong Kong and China, being fully responsible for the operations finance department. You will develop organisational strategies by contributing financial data, analysis and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction. You will also lead the team in preparing interim and annual reports as well as play a critical part in Investor Relations as well as looking after the tax and treasury functions. In addition, you should maximise return on invested funds by identifying any future investment opportunies.
The Successful Applicant
To qualify, you will be a degree holder in Accounting or related subjects with a recognized CPA qualification. You should have at least 20 years progessive track record of success and acquired at least 10 years of leadership experience, preferably in real estate, retail industry. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations essential. Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis. Fluency in Mandarin and English is essential.
