About our Client
Our client is an international hotel chain with a strong presence in the hospitality industry. A rare opportunity has arisen and they are now inviting a Chief Engineer to join their prestigious hotel in Hong Kong.
About the Role
Reporting the to General Manager and leading a team of 14, you will ensure a smooth daily operation and guest appeal of the hotel by supervising a team of maintenance staff on facility's repair and maintenance. You will perform regular scheduled safety inspections to ensure property and facilities is in compliance with company's policies, procedures, as well as local laws and regulations. You will work closely with department heads and the engineering team to assure operational excellence and the best building condition is achieved.
Requirements
The qualified candidate will be a degree holder in Electrical, Mechanical and/or Building Services Engineering with certificates of Construction Industry Safety and Qualified Electrician. Ideally you are a holder of Registered Electrical Worker License in Grade B or above. You will have a minimum of 5 years' experience as a Chief Engineer or Assistant Chief Engineer position working in a luxury hotel and/or serviced apartment. Excellent leadership skills and abilities in budget management and planning are critical success factors. Proficiency in English and Cantonese is a prerequisite for this position.
