About our Client
Our client is a reputable Asian based conglomerate with an extensive business portfolio in property development and hospitality sectors in the region. To cope with their rapid growth, they are now inviting a Chief Engineer to manage the maintenance team for a new luxury serviced apartment in Hong Kong.
About the Role
As a Chief Engineer, you will ensure a smooth daily operation and guest appeal of the serviced apartment by supervising a team of maintenance staff on facility's repair and maintenance. You will perform regular scheduled safety inspections to ensure property and facilities is in compliance with company's policies, procedures, as well as local laws and regulations. You will work closely with department heads and the engineering team to assure operational excellence and the best building condition is achieved.
Requirements
The qualified candidate will be a degree holder in Electrical, Mechanical and/or Building Services Engineering with certificates of Construction Industry Safety and Qualified Electrician. You will have a minimum of 8 years' experience as a Chief Engineer or Assistant Chief Engineer position working in a luxury hotel and/or serviced apartment. Excellent leadership skills and abilities in budget management and planning are critical success factors. Proficiency in English and Cantonese is a prerequisite for this position.
