Job Description
Our client is a long established bank with both retail and commercial businesses in Greater China. To cope with the recent expansion plans, they are looking for a Chief Technology Officer to join the executive management team to further enhance their Technology division.
Reporting to the CEO, you will have a team of over 150 heads in the department with over 5 direct reports. You will partner with the CEO to establish the Bank's technical vision and play an integral role in the design, development and implementation of the Bank's Technology decisions complimenting with the business growth. There is a key focus in maintaining a competitive advantage over peers on digital banking as well as optimising and managing the technology network in a highly efficient manner. You will lead the development and implementation of any IT architecture related strategies to fulfil the future organisation needs.
To qualify, you should possess a degree in technology or business related subjects and a minimum of 20 years experience in IT with at least 8 years in an executive level position from the banking, financial, insurance or shipping industry. Exposure to Mobile Payments, eWallets, Mobile Digital Banking would be advantage. You should have strong project managment skills and the track record of developing your team. Excellent stakeholder management is essential. Fluency in English and Cantonese is crucial.
