Our client is a reputable company with a significant offline and online global presence. Over the years, they have established a dominant market position in their industry and due to a continued global business expansion and technology transformation strategies, they are now seeking for a Cloud IT Infrastructure Engineer Lead, APAC

About the Role

Reporting to the department head, you will bring in domain expertise to drive the adoption of cloud native standards to development teams. Plan and execute long-term vision for Cloud Strategy by delivering frameworks and platforms that are secure, efficient, mature, highly available, and abstract away infrastructure complexity. Paved-path runtimes used by hundreds of developers to enable efficient delivery including build, deployment, containerization, and connection to an entire ecosystem of capabilities. Participate and assist in setting the long-term direction, roadmaps and standards for technical solutions, ensuring they align to the overall enterprise architecture . Lastly, assist to engineer solutions that provide infrastructure as code (IaC) for re-use.

The successful candidate

  • 6+ years of overall infrastructure experience and current expertise with hybrid cloud infrastructure in DR and production environments
  • Private or public cloud experience in a converged infrastructure environment
  • Expertise in infra services, security concepts and best practices, virtualization storage, and database technologies
  • Hands-on strong experience and in-depth knowledge with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling such as Terraform, Azure CLI
  • Server builds, server configuration, server deployments plus patching and hardening
  • Perform server security hardening plus managing and supporting on-going patch management processes
  • Knowledge of software deployment technologies, configuration management and patch management procedures
  • Experience with compliance and audit activities for enforcement of policies,
  • Strong adherence to Change management Process
  • A solid understanding of risk, security, and compliance requirements and best practices
  • Good understanding of networking infrastructure and network troubleshooting
  • Good command in English and Chinese
