Our client is a leading FMCG brand with global presence. A new opportunity now exists for an all rounded commercial head to lead a new business in the Hong Kong and China as the Commercial Director.
Based in Hong Kong and reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for leading a new business from scratch. You are expected to have an end-to-end knowledge from new ideas, product delivery and GTM. Having a strong market knowledge, you will create product innovation and turn the insight into new product development, identify the external partners for production/OEM projects and manage the process until product delivery. As the business leader, you will plan and execute the strategy to achieve the sales targets at e-Com, retail and foodservices. In addition, you will build a marketing team to create a through the line communications plan to support the launch of products. To ensure the product competitiveness, you are expected to have a strong market sense and industry trend, and able to translate your ideas into product innovation and development. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Sales & Marketing talent to join a brand to expand the business from thinking out the box perspective and strategy, to achieve the first to the market proposition.
Requirements:
- Degree holder in business or related disciplines
- 15+ years sales and marketing experience from FMCG, F&B preferred
- e-Com development and management experience is a must
- China market experience is essential
- Knowledge in product development and merchandising
- PNL ownership, budgeting and track record to start a new business from end to end
- Strong starter mindset, strategic, result driven and excellent leadership skill
- Fluent communications in English, Chinese, Mandarin is a plus
