Our client is a leading FMCG brand with global presence. A new opportunity now exists for an all rounded commercial head to lead a new business in Hong Kong as the Commercial Director.
Based in Hong Kong and reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for leading a new business from scratch. You are expected to have an end-to-end knowledge from new ideas, product delivery and GTM. Having a strong market knowledge, you will create product innovation and turn the insight into new product development, identify the external partners for production/OEM projects and manage the process until product delivery. As the driver to make new business happened, you will also develop the business plan and budget forecast, share the network synergy with HQ to spearhead the channel strategy to tap into the targeted audience and markets. In addition, you will build a marketing team to create a through the line communications plan to support the launch of products. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Sales & Marketing talent to join a brand to expand the business from thinking out the box perspective and strategy, to achieve the first to the market proposition.
Requirements:
- Degree holder in business or related disciplines
- 15+ years sales and marketing experience from FMCG
- Food & beverage experience is a must
- Knowledge in product development and merchandising
- PNL ownership and track record to start a new business from end to end
- Hands on key account network in retail and FS channels
- Strong starter mindset, strategic, result driven and excellent leadership skill
- Fluent communications in English and Chinese
