Compliance Manager - e-Commerce
About the Company
Our client is a fast-expanding social network platform who has recently completed an acquisition of a sizable ecommerce platform to extend their service scope and further globalize their business. To cope with their expansion, they are recruiting a new Compliance Manager in their Hong Kong office.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you will help to build a global payment mechanism to cope with the business expansion. You will help to apply for relevant licenses to cope with regulatory needs. You will communicate with legal and business development departments and liaise with external institutions to propose a protocol for cross-broader payment management. You will conduct risk management and avoid any potential fraud. Last but not least, you will handle any ad-hoc assignment for daily operational needs.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of relevant compliance/ AML experience in banking/ cross-border payment solution provider/e-commerce platforms. Experience in applying MSO license is an advantage. Excellent problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills are required. You should be independent, energetic and able to cope with changes from an innovative business model. Proficiency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese is compulsory. Immediately available is an advantage.
