About Our Client
Our client is a sizeable and stable bank in Hong Kong. They are now seeking a seasoned Private Banking Compliance Team head with 10+ year's experience to head up a team.
About the role
Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you will be responsible to support the compliance services to the private banking unit, including perform regular review and monitor the business compliance with the industry codes, policies and laws and regulations. You are also required to review, advise and implement regulatory and internal requirements that relate to the bank's businesses and operations. You will liaise and work closely with differently BU on compliance issue. You will also support the head of department on ad hoc projects as assigned.
The Successful Applicant
To be a successful applicant, candidate should be degree educated in Business, Accounting, Commerce, Laws or relevant discipline, with 8+ years experience from financial service. Experiences in Private banking is highly preferred. An ideal applicant is self-motivated, attention to details and able to work under pressure and tight deadlines with good interpersonal skill. Proficiency in English and Chinese is a must for this role.
