About our Client
Our client is a leader in its specialisation and they have a multiple product range offering to an international clientele. A new opportunity now exists for a senior individual to join their management team as COO.
About the Role
Based in China and reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation of a few sizeable production plants in China and overseas countries. You will design and implement business strategies and plans, articulate them into business goals to drive performance and growth. You will initiate and lead the process or system enhancement projects to streamline the production efficiency and improve the bottom line. You will coach the functional teams in the factory to manage the ad hoc issues and guide them to reach a best solution. As COO, you will also oversee daily operations of the company and the key functions including IT, Marketing, Sales, HR & Finance. You will assist CEO on M&A and other expansion plans. In addition, you will be the management team member and heavily involved into the 3 Years Plan. By leading a sizeable team of direct reports of 10+ peoples, you are expected to have an excellent leadership and communications skill to master the job.
Requirements
To qualify, successful individual must possess:
- Degree in Business Administration, engineering or other related discipline
- 10+ years senior experience in factory & business management in China and overseas markets
- Background from accessory / apparel / engineering products
- Proven track record to initiate and accomplish process/system enhancement projects
- Experience in management of international clients
- Outstanding leadership skills, strategic, good decision & problem solving ability
- Fluent English, Mandarin and Chinese
- Less experience will be considered as General Manager
