Our client is a progressive and forward-thinking Financial Services company, currently looking for a Credit Risk Manager (with Retail Banking experience) to join and help with credit policy review, credit management and credit analysis.
About The Role
Reporting into the Senior Manager, you will develop and implement policies and procedures that reduce credit risk for the company, and to ensure regulatory standards are met. You will work closely with business stakeholders on a Group and Country level and to contribute relevant strategies from a holistic view. You will also involve in ad-hoc reporting to monitor credit quality and risk distributions, caps and triggers, also participate in working groups to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met. On top of which, you will be expected to be on top of market changes related to credit conditions and advise senior management on required actions to mitigate potential risks for the company.
The ideal candidate will be degree educated in Risk Management, Statistics or relevant disciplines, with 3-5 years' experience in retail banking environment with focus in credit risk management. Sound knowledge in credit analysis and credit management will be required for this role, whilst excellent communication and interpersonal skills will help excel within the company. You will also be someone who can adapt to a fast-changing environment and deliver despite tight deadlines. Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese essential. Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager, occasion travel / day trips required.
