Job Description
New headcount under data engineer team to help implementation and evolution of digital transform initiative.
Responsibilities:
- Platform configuration, initial data integration, work-flow and model for key use cases
- Take ownership of using data analytic in projects and ensuring value
- Provide insightful information and advice to guide business decisions
- Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture
- Operational support including issues investigation, continuous process and tools improvement
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar
- Understanding of Machine Learning, Data Science or AI
- Experience of coding using SQL or SAS to manipulate data
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python / PySpark / Spark SQL / Java
- Capable of implementing data ingestion routines by using data modelling, ETL/ELT processes, leverage AWS technologies and other big data tools
