About The Client
Our client is a well-known financial service corporate in Hong Kong and they are looking for Database Architect (DBA) to join their system architecture team. Candidate with less experience will be considered as Senior System Engineer.
Job Responsibilities:
- Implement and support payment systems and application, and serve global customers
- Gather and analyse business requirement, transform it into high quality database design and specification
- Perform database performance tuning, upgrade and change management, testing, deployment
- Review SQL, store procedures and database development standards and processes
- Perform system administration and monitoring on Linux and Windows servers
- Lead prototyping efforts in various application, database & infrastructure re-engineering activities
- Coach and train junior teammate
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 6 years of experience in database administration and cloud infrastructure, working at sizeable company
- Hands-on in Oracle 19c/18c/12c/11g with/without RAC, Oracle Dataguard administration, performance tuning and troubleshooting
- Knowledge in PostgreSQL, MySQL & MS SQL Server is an advantage
- Experience in Linux, Solaris, Windows
- Experience in Azure or AWS cloud environments is an advantage
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
