About the Role:
You will report to the Head of origination, you will:
- Oversee and execute Debt Capital Markets Origination strategies to achieve business results
- Originate business and work closely with Corporate Banking relationship teams to drive business pipelines
- Lead a team of client facing colleagues to deliver high standard of business origination functions
- Handle the operational, compliance, and other risks in the daily business operations
- Maintain close collaboration relationship with business counterparts
The Successful Applicant
- University degree in Banking, Finance or related discipline
- Minimum 7 years work experience in the banking industry with solid client facing and relationship building experience; with no less than 3 years in managerial role
- Possess Type 1 & 4 regulated activities licenses
- Solid knowledge of products and internal procedures, with proven track record of proactively originating business
- Track record of leading a team to successfully deliver business results with excellent management and leadership skills
- Sound knowledge of the Group and the Bank products, and a strong network of contacts across all business areas
- Resilient, able to make sound decisions and work under pressure
- Open to change with ability to influence, engage and lead positively and in an inspiring manner
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese High level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customer
