About Our Client
Our client is an aggressively growing Life Insurance service provider headquartered in Hong Kong with Greater China presence. To cope with their expansion plans, they are looking for a seasoned Director with Actuarial background to be the Deputy CFO.
About the Role
Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for the Financial Controlling and Actuarial functions of the Group, leading a team of over 60. You will be one of the core members of the transformation committee as well as leading the IFRS 17 and RBC implementation in Hong Kong. You will also take care of the group level reporting and internal control of the business as well as any ad hoc duties.
The Successful Applicant
You will be a degree holder in Actuarial Science with relevant qualifications and at least 12 years experience. You should be a dynamic leader with team and project management experience in handling IFRS17/ RBC implementation before. If you come from the Life Insurance industry sector, it would be a definite advantage. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential with fluency in English and Cantonese.
