About Our Client
Our client is a premium fashion retailer of luxury yarns and sweater, and focuses on womenswear, menswear and soft-home products. Due to business expansion plan, they are looking for a Senior Design Manager / Design Manager to join them and give something new and fresh.
Job Duties
- Responsible for all design function activities including but not limited to research development, trend analysis, mood board creation, fashion concept development, design sketching, PP sample review, prints design, layout embellishment, etc.
- Assist Creative Director and lead Senior Designer in establishing collections and exclusive capsule for brand and wholesale clients
- Create mood board and theme board, and deliver seasonal concept and design for brand and wholesale clients to fit the target markets
- Liaise with merchandising team with preparing tech pack and size specification for sampling and production
- Assist in lab dip, printing strike off, and fitting sample with providing comment and solution
- Monitor product design, production, delivery schedule and costing to ensure the quality requirements are met
- Assist ad hoc duties as required
Requirement
- Degree holder in Fashion Design, Textile & Clothing, or any related disciplines
- At least 8 years of fashion design experience, especially in sweaters
- Good knowledge in yarns and sweater knit construction
- Good knowledge in Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, or any software solutions is preferred
- Fluent communication in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
- Experience in fashion design for US, HK, and China market
