Our client is a renowned bank with strong presence across Greater China regions. As part of business expansion and HR transformation plans, they are currently hiring a seasoned business partner to take lead for the HR Compliance team.
Reporting into the General Manager - Human Resources, you will review and revamp existing policies, procedures and employee handbook in relation to local laws, and at the same time look into potential operational risk and control matters by conducting scheduled HR compliance audits so as to avoid any legal liabilities. You will also involved in various employee relations activities including the handling of legal / court cases, employee complaints and investigations. Working alongside a sizeable HR team, you will demonstrate the ability as the go-to HR advisor within for all HR compliance related matters.
To qualify, you will be tertiary educated in Human Resources or relevant disciplines, with sound track record being a true HR business partner to senior business stakeholders . You will be well versed in employment law and the regulatory / legal requirements that can affect an organisation at anytime; experienced responding to audits from external parties and/or responding to legal inquiries, and demonstrated exceptional communication and interpersonal skills (in Chinese and English) stepping up to conflicts as a strong problem-solver who can think on one's feet. This is a Senior level HR position targeting at candidates with 20+ years relevant experience working within a Financial Services environment, with competitive package offered to the right talent.
