Director of Operations
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic operational plans that align with the overall goals and objectives of the company. Identify areas for improvement, optimize processes, and drive operational efficiency to enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Act as a key liaison between HK and mainland office, facilitating seamless communication, collaboration, and knowledge sharing. Share best practices and leverage operational synergies across both locations to maximize overall performance.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring effective financial management, resource allocation, and risk assessment. Monitor key performance indicators, proactively identify operational challenges, and implement tailored solutions to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to the operational teams in both HK and mainland office, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Set performance targets, conduct regular evaluations, and implement training and development initiatives to enhance the capabilities of the teams and promote professional growth.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies. Stay abreast of legal and regulatory changes, implement necessary measures to maintain compliance, and liaise with relevant authorities when required.
- Utilize your extensive cross-regional knowledge and expertise to identify opportunities for operational optimization and business expansion in the Hong Kong market. Apply your deep understanding of local practices and dynamics to drive strategic initiatives and differentiate in the competitive landscape.
Requirements:
- Over 10 years of experience in business operation, strategic planning and performance management in management consulting services or related sizable organizations, leading the local team towards the company goals
- Proven experience in senior managerial role in relevant business nature
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex challenges
- Familiar with market information, trends in local, mainland and APAC region
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to inspire and lead cross-functional teams
- Ability to demonstrate success in driving operational excellence and efficiency
