Event Manager (Luxury, 1-year contract)
- Exposure to luxury brand
- Exp in event management and operation
- 5-day work, Location: Quarry Bay
Responsibilities:
STRATEGIC PLANNING
- Work closely with Marketing Managers, Retail Marketing, VM and Communications team to develop event strategy & concept to local context
- Leading up to the event - coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure 360 alignment
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Manage all aspects of the events (including venue scouting/liaison, budgets, production, event operations…etc.), and ensure that they are delivered on time, on-budget and with high-quality execution
- Supporting role in RSVP campaign site & shopping cart UAT
- Preparation & support the venue set-up (including liaison with IT, Retail, Marketing)
- Act as the floor manager for on-site supervision during business hours - handling all matters except the selling activities
- Coordination in event calendar & traffic plan; Manage external agencies
- Prepare post-event reports and assist internal audit
- When necessary, able to brief and head a contract event executive
MARKET INTELLIGENCE
- Update & share new market developments & knowledge with all relevant departments, including any new event trends / technology
Requirements:
- Degree holder in business/marketing related disciplines
- At least 7-8 years of marketing experience specialized in Event Management
- Experience in luxury retail/beauty industry is preferred
- Detail-minded, innovative, passionate, and result-oriented
- Strong data-analysis skills, project management and time management skills
- Able to work independently to prioritize on works, multi-task and meet deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese
- Strong computer literacy in Microsoft Words, Excel, and PowerPoint
