In order to help craft unforgettable event experiences across the Club's private spaces, they are looking for a dynamic, solutions-orientated Event Sales Manager to join their growing team.
About the Role
Responsible for achieving catering/event revenues as well as the targets set by the Director within the year, assisting in identifying market needs and trends in Catering, Weddings, Social, Conference, and Corporate businesses, defining the target markets, reviewing the direct competition, and ensuring complete awareness by all sales teams of competitor's activities, strategies, and promotion. Develop existing business and solicit new event business through member lead generation and event sales marketing, and solicit new customers through traditional and non-traditional sales techniques. Compilation of key financial reports for business analysis, event & catering budget business plan, regular budget, and forecast reports, and team production tracking/management. Conduct market research on competitors' analysis and market trends; monitor competitor set activities and intelligence sources to identify sources of business and prospect new leads/accounts to exceed fair market share performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an Events Sales position
- Aggressive and positive working attitude
- Solid sales experience in F&B, event, and wedding planning within hotel/resort area, extensive knowledge, and background in wedding planning/sales
- In-depth industry knowledge and previous exposure to the hotel social catering sales model
- Able to manage the identification and resolution of day-to-day problems related to event/wedding requests
- Excellent Chinese and English written and verbal communication skills
