Finance Director
About our Client
Our client is an aggressively expanding business with R&D and manufacturing operations in Greater China. Currently, they are looking for a Finance Director to perform a full spectrum of accounting and finance duties for the entity.
About the Role
Reporting to the CFO, you will oversee teams in Hong Kong and China. You will ensure timely financial reporting and compliance with the latest accounting standards and practices. You will handle management reporting and conduct data analysis for communication with internal and external stakeholders. You will lead tax planning for HK, China and offshore and resolve tax issues related to transfer pricing and compliance. Also, you will support relationship management with financial institutions and source financing tools to facilitate business development. You will strengthen internal control and standardize system and processes. You will coordinate with external auditors for interim and year-end audits.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor degree holder in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
- Professional qualification such as HKICPA, ACCA or equivalent
- At least 15+ years of relevant experience in HK listed/ subsidiary of HK listed companies
- PRC experience is an advantage
- Strong leadership skills is required
- Result-driven, agile, able to respond to changes and able to multi-task
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
