About the Client
Our client is an MNC retailer who has regional presence in multiple sales channels. They have country-entry strategies in place and are searching for a finance business partner to lead their regional finance team and support their regional growth plan.
About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager, you will manage a neat team. You will add value to the team by strengthening their FP&A function and analysing different business cases. You will be a financial advisor and contribute to their business strategies and tactics. You will review and enhance existing tools for various kinds of analysis such as KPI, store opening and profitability analysis. You will manage annual budgeting, rolling forecast and provide regular business updates for global HQ. Also, you will comment on legal contracts from a financial perspective to safeguard benefits of the company and avoid any potential risks. Last but not least, you will need to involve in process and system enhancement in mid-to-long run.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will be an experienced finance business partner with at least 15 years of relevant work experience. Ideally, you will be someone with track records in advising a retail business on market growth/turnaround projects. Regional finance experience is preferred. Relevant professional qualifications such as HKICPA and ACCA is required. Excellent analytical, communication and interpersonal skills are required. You should be confident, commercially savvy and able to work closely with other business unit leaders in a growing team. Proficiency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese is compulsory.
