About the Client
Our client is a fast-growing crypto-finance company in Hong Kong and China with presence in Taiwan, Korea and Canada. They are currently expanding the team and looking for a high calibre to join them.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the impact from the accounting standards in various regions on the company's financials to make necessary adjustments to the accounting policies;
- Prepare statutory financial statements, management reporting and conduct financial analysis periodically;
- Participate in the process of contracts preparation and provide professional advice on the financial and tax impacts taking into consideration of accounting standard and tax regulatory requirements in different regions;
- Perform full set of accounts and prepare journal vouchers, and conduct proper accounting treatments to revenue, costs, AR/AP , inventory (digital assets) and others;
- Collaborate with different Business Units to understand their liquidity position and properly plan cash flow budgets to meet their needs;
- Provide professional opinions for the company's various business operations, business negotiations, management systems, etc.;
- Communicate with various business departments to ensure that various records are booked in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in accounting, finance or other related disciplines
- At least 5 years of accounting experience in the digital currency, blockchain or finance industry is preferred; strong interest in cryptocurrency is a plus;
- Qualified member of HKICPA or equivalent is preferable;
- Overseas experience or relevant accounting experience, IFRS, US GAAP practical experience is preferred;
- Able to handle reports and daily communication in both Mandarin and English;
- Practical experience of financial system is preferred (Oracle NetSuite).
- Travel to China is required
