Finance Manager
About the Client
Our client is an expanding investment arm of a well-established conglomerate. Their investment interest is in growth equities and they are building up a dedicated finance unit for the investment team to cope with their increasing operational needs.
About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager of Finance, you will manage a neat team. You will be a core member to work with group finance and establish the accounting and finance function for this investment division. You will be responsible for financial reporting, consolidation and management reporting. You will conduct analysis to review the financial performance of the investment targets and valuate the portfolio companies. You will work closely with professional services firms for annual audit, tax planning and compliance and technical accounting matters. Also, you will enhance internal control and involve in any ad-hoc projects as assigned.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will be an all-rounded finance talent with solid investment accounting experience. Ideally, you should have at least 8 years of work experience, preferably gained from PE/VC/Asset Management companies/ sizable corporations with an active equity investment pipeline over the years. Big 4 experience is an advantage. Relevant professional qualifications such as HKICPA and ACCA is required. You should be someone hands-on, with strong problem-solving skills and able to communicate with people at different levels. Fluency in English is compulsory. Strong at excel and Oracle ERP is an advantage.
