Financial Controller
About the Client
Our client is a sizable HK based corporation with diversified business portfolio, including property development and investment. Currently, they are looking for a seasoned Financial Controller to join their team.
About the Role
Reporting to the CFO, you will manage a sizable accounting team in Hong Kong. You major responsibility is to transform and uplift the accounting and finance function to support the business and strike for operation excellence. You will identify room for improvement, lead various projects towards accounting process streamlining, management reporting, system upgrade etc. You will need to be a people leader and provide training and guidelines for the team to facilitate a smooth transformation.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
- HKICPA/ACCA Chartered
- At least 15 years of relevant work experience from Big 4 and sizable corporations (real estate/hospitality/retail)
- All-rounded experience is required
- Business unit or country level finance experience is preferred
- Finance transformation experience is an advantage
- Fast-paced, hands-on and enjoy driving changes
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
