Financial Controller - HK Listed
About the Company
Our client is a well-established HK listed company with a strong presence in PRC. Their business is infrastructure oriented and they have been promoting sustainability over the years. To cope with their business needs, they are inviting a seasoned and experienced finance professional to lead their team.
About the Role
Reporting to the CFO, this is an all-rounded role. You will work at HK Headquarter and manage a team of more than 10 in HK and China. You will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, tax and treasury matters. You will manage external reporting, accounting standard update and compliance. You will work closely with external auditors, bankers and regulatory parties. Also, you will review existing accounting policies and drive process and system enhancement. You will conduct financial due diligence and feasibility studies to facilitate potential acquisitions. Last but not least, you will support any ad-hoc projects as assigned.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will be an all-rounded finance leader with more than 15 years of work experience, including 5 years of managerial experience. In addition to accounting operation, you are expected to oversee external reporting, financing, M&A and compliance. CPA qualification and Big 4 experience are preferred. Relevant China experience in Infrastructure/Manufacturing/Construction & Property sector is an advantage. Excellent analytical, stakeholder management and leadership skills are required. Proficiency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese are compulsory.
