About the Client
Our client is a renowned insurance service provider. Currently, they are searching for a Financial Controller to head up their finance department in Hong Kong.
About the Role
You will be responsible for leading the finance and accounting functions of the insurance business. You will need to ensure timely compilation of financial and management reporting, annual budget and accounts, etc. You will be responsible for regulatory compliance, the implementation of IFRS17 and forthcoming Risk Based Capital requirements. Last but not least, you will carry out any ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
- Qualified in ACCA, HKICPA or equivalent
- 15 years+ relevant work experience, including experience from insurance companies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong team management and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
