About the Client
Our client is a fast-growing consumer business who has obtained great success globally via online sales channels. To cope with their IPO plan, they are recruiting a seasoned Financial Controller with solid track record to base in their Hong Kong office.
About the Role
Reporting to the CFO, you will manage and monitor the entire IPO project throughout the process (from pre-IPO to post-IPO). You will need to build internal control policies and help to streamline existing accounting and business processes. You will provide analytical support for financial performance review, business development and M&A. You will be the key contact point with professional parties such as sponsors, bankers, lawyers and auditors. You will prepare documentation for IPO including profit forecast and prospectus. You will be expected to manage internal and external reporting, strengthen corporate governance, and handle any corporate secretarial matters after the listing.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor degree holder in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
- HKICPA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
- At least 12 years of Big 4 and HK Mainboard IPO experience
- Solid end-to-end IPO track record is a must
- Familiar with HK listing rules
- Company secretarial experience is an advantage
- Analytical, self-driven and able to work under pressure
- Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
- Occasional travel is required
