About the Company
Our client is a leading online media and marketer with brands obtaining great success in Hong Kong. To broaden their business platform and reinforce their market position, they are inviting a seasoned Financial Controller to join and drive their IPO project in Hong Kong.
About the Role
Reporting to the Business Unit Head as well as the Group CFO, you will lead a team of 10 and be responsible for all accounting and finance matters for daily operation. Your key responsibilities will include financial reporting, annual budgeting, business planning and process enhancement. You will also need to oversee internal audit, compliance and tax filings. To support business growth, you will play a key role as a business partner and driver by providing investment analysis and other commentaries for management to support their decision-making. Last but not least, to upgrade efficiency in the accounting operation, you will involve in system enhancement and providing trainings for the finance team to prepare for their IPO project.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines
- At least 10 years of relevant experience gained from sizeable corporations and Big 4
- HKICPA or ACCA or equivalent
- IPO experience is definitely an advantage
- Strategic, flexible with changes, self-driven
- Strong at managing a sizeable team and partnering up with different business units
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
