Financial Controller/ Finance Director
About the Client
Our client is an aggressive private company with multiple business units serving corporate and retail clients in Hong Kong. To cope with their business development, they have added a new headcount for an experienced Financial Controller to join their group finance team.
About the Role
Reporting to the Group CFO, you will help to manage different accounting and finance functions at group level. You will further strengthen the capabilities of sub-finance divisions. You will oversee teams for financial reporting, group consolidation, financial planning and analysis, tax, treasury, internal control. You will provide advisory support for M&A, financing, tax etc. You will support strategic projects for efficiency enhancement, business expansion and integration. You will liaise with external parties such as external auditors, bankers and lawyers.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor degree holder in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
- HKICPA/ ACCA or equivalent
- At least 10 years of work experience in managing full spectrum of accounting and finance functions
- Track record of managing a very sizable accounting and finance team
- Group finance experience from conglomerate/ blue-chip companies is required
- Confident, aggressive, responsive to changes and growth and able to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in Cantonese and English
