Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop and review full set of HKMA returns to ensure they are in comply with Regulatory requirements; and ensure the operational efficiency
- Ensure the accuracy of all regulatory returns including local financial reporting, Head Office Reporting and financial disclosure of the bank
- Work closely with the regulators, senior management; auditors for audit reports and financial disclosure
- Monitor new regulatory issues and provide training to junior staff
- Liaise between Head Office and different stakeholders with data quality control in comply with HKMA requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree or above in Accounting/ Finance disciplines
- Member of HKICPA or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Financial Accounting and Reporting within sizable banks; with at least 3 years in supervisory role; CBRC Reporting experience is preferable
- Sound experience in HKMA returns and regulatory requirements
- Experienced in system implementation would be an advantage
- Good analytical and presentation skills and able to work independently
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese ; Mandarin is a must
