About our client:
Our client is a leading precision manufacturer with strong capability in metal stamping, die making, and machining. Due to business growth, the team is looking for a Global Operations Director to manage its group supply chain & manufacturing function.
About your role:
- Report to Managing Director
- Oversee the entire operation and supply chain and P&L Management of in-house factory
- Direct functional departments include Product Development / Engineering / Quality Management / Purchasing / Order Management / Resourcing & In-house Plant Management (production / administration / cost accounting / QC / Process etc), Industrial Risk Management / R&D
- Develop planning and prioritize processes to ensure multi-disciplinary resources are aligned to support product delivery
- Work with Sales & Marketing on product development, execution plan on market opportunities and support all project management to cross functional activities for execution
- Ensure all industrialization activities are accurate and in-depth to support fast & on-time product launching
- Coordinate with Process Teams / Vendors to ensure manufacturability of products, while maintaining quality standards and achieving cost targets in timely & appropriate methods
- Leader for all LEAN / Cost Cutting Projects with internal cross-functional team and outside Consultants and ensure all new equipment / automation projects / engineering activities are supported & realized
- At least 15 years relevant experience in Metal Manufacturing is a Must
- Degree or diploma in Manufacturing, industrial engineering or related disciplines
- Familiar with manufacturing operations, project, quality and supply chain management
- Good command of English and Mandarin
- Solid Factory Supply Chain Experience
