About Our Client
Our client is a well sought-after consumer brand with a progressive business plan in Asia. They are looking for a high caliber to join their team as General Manager to lead one of their business units.
About the Role
Based in Hong Kong and reporting to the Business Head, you will be responsible for the PNL of the assigned retail business in Hong Kong and China. Owing PNL, you will oversee all rounded business functions namely sales, marketing and business development to grow the business continuously. To differentiate from the tense competition and solidify the brand positioning, you will have a good understanding of the market trend and decide the competitive product mix. You will lead a team to improve the customer experience and create a top class word-of- mouth engagement in the market. Without a boundary, you are expected to have a strong entrepreneur mindset to develop the market share from the various perspectives.
Requirements
To qualify, successful individual must possess:
- Degree in business management or other related disciplines
- 20+ years experience of retail management in HK / China
- Background from fast moving products including accessory, fashion or beauty
- An eye on market trend, strategic, detailed and hands on
- Strong leadership skill and a sound experience working in a Matrix structure
- Outstanding communications in English, Chinese and Mandarin
