About our Client
Our client is a market leading consumer group with a strong presence in Asia. A new opportunity now exists for an experienced sales and marketing talent to join their team as the General Manager for one of their assigned category.
About the Role
Based in Hong Kong and reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for developing business strategy for an assigned consumer product category. Owing the PNL, you will define a clear business objective, brand guideline as well as sales strategy to drive an aggressive business growth in the market. In addition to the existing sales channel partners, you will identify new stakeholders to expand the product exposure in the market, manage and maintain a long term relationship with them. As a General Manager, you will create an engaging brand positioning for the products and maximise their exposure to reach a targeted and loyal group of customer. You will keep yourself abreast of the market trend and consumer behaviour to generate any new opportunities for a continuous business expansion.
Requirements
To qualify, successful individual must possess:
- Degree in business management or other related disciplines
- 12+ years sales & marketing expereince from retail/FMCG
- Background from health/TCM/beauty/consumer electronics
- Track record in category management and sales channel development
- Knowledge of brand management and integrated marketing plan
- Strong leadership, exceptional presentation and communications skills
- Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
