Our client is an industry pioneer within the Media / Entertainment sector. To cope with upcoming business expansion, they are hiring a General Manager, Human Resources to join as part of the management team.
About The Role
Reporting into the CEO, you will be responsible and accountable for leading the HR team through its Strategic Plan as well as the overall day-to-day operation and management of the regional HR team. As the GM Human Resources, you will be responsible for implementing the HR policies and directives of the Chief Executive; achieving business objectives that support the company's strategic direction; ensuring the company operates its day-to-day business in accordance with its philosophy and in accordance with sound business practices and that all human resources activities are performed effectively and efficiently. You will also build strong and sustainable relationships with stakeholders at all levels and to maintain the business' reputation as a credible and highly respected community-based organisation.
The ideal candidate will be a degree holder preferably in Human Resources Management, with minimum 20 years of strategic human resources experience from sizeable MNCs, candidates with experience from the media/entertainment/community servicing sector will be highly regarded. You will come with a high level of experience in a Human Resources function, together with an up-to-date working knowledge of employment-related organisation. You will be recognised as a leader with a track record of achieving results through others, and experienced in managing in an environment involving different interest groups with varying agendas.
